Background :
SneakerClub, an Australian online e-commerce and subscription platform, orchestrates giveaways, offers memberships, and extends discounts to subscribers. The platform encompasses an e-commerce section for the sale of the company's apparel.
Project Overview :
Embarking on a transformative journey with Christian Marchese, the founder of SneakerClub, our goal was clear: design and develop a membership-based web application. This intricate project spanned 4 months and involved a dynamic team consisting of Bryan Lewis (UX/UI designer, Bubble Developer), Reyon Kondra (UX/UI designer & Content writer), and Abhishek Raj (Bubble Developer).
Client’s Requirements :
SneakerClub aspired for a comprehensive web app with features ranging from one-off packages and three membership tiers to giveaway entries, a user dashboard, a ticketing system for coupon generation, user and giveaway management, and seamless Stripe integration for payments.
Project Objectives :
The mission was to design and develop a web app using Figma and Bubble, seamlessly merging memberships, user dashboards, ticketing, giveaways, and Stripe payment processing.

Design & Process :
Solution Research :
The client needed a development solution that was easy to improve, update and expand in the future and after some research I recommended Bubble.io as it was the industry leading no code software that can build any Webapp from scratch and amazing library of plugins, logic, API’s etc.
Sitemap/IA :
We started ideating the flow for the webapp and after a few iterations and conversations we were able to come up with a flow. We also had to create a sitemap for admin users where they can control the giveaway, partner rewards and the users properly.

Wireframes :
We started designing basic wireframes based on the Website design the client had given us. We created 2 different versions, one was the subscribed user version and admin version. The paid user had live/past/upcoming giveaway pages, partner rewards as well as account page. The admin had the same pages but there were additional admin controls in the page and a subscription user page with users information. So that the product can be shipped to the users address. We also created a responsive tab and mobile screen designs.

UI Design :
As per the Website design we received from the client, we took the brand colors, typography and other elements as guidelines and added to the webapp prototype. The responsive tab and mobile screens were also updated.
Initial Bubble Development :
After the UI Designs were approved we started development of the Web app screens and Basic workflows as well as integrating common bubble API’s and plugins.

UI Design Update :
After some of the Basic Dev, we learned that the Website had gone under revision and new designs, so after receiving the inputs from the other Website Builder and the client we added the new design and made the changes across the screen artboards.
New Feature Addition :
There was a new update to the Project is that the client wanted to add a one off purchases where users can specifically purchase the giveaway entries of a specific Sneakers that was available across 4 pricing plans. This was a project extension that wasn't listed in the original contract and we cleared a project addon with the client for an extra charge. Abhijit was able to handle that issue and we made changes to the required logics for users account management and so on.
Testing and Launch :
After 2 months of development we did a lot of testing and various problems appeared and we focused on fixing the issues. After all possible issues were solved we published the platform live by integrating links between Webflow and Bubble.
Post Launch Errors :
Not all Errors are discovered in testing, hence we kind of expected few features to have some issues and after initial users reported the issues to the client we were able to solve the problems. Few of these issues were due to logics resetting due to unknown reasons and after an alternative logics were added and the old one replaced.
Response :
Despite the first month had bit of errors, once this was responded we the users started coming slowly and steadily started increasing. In the span of 6 months we had almost 120 users which was good for a new giveaway platform, all left was the client to increase products for give away and add more merchandise in its store.
Current Status :
While the app was live for more than 7 months, it was closed on 9th August 2023 cause the account with Stripe was suspended cause giveaways come under gambling which wasn’t accepted in their terms and conditions. The client tried to repeal it but wasn't able to move forward. As per the clients instruction i closed the app and saved it in bubble, so that the client can restart later on.
